Autism, in the past, has been listed as a deficit of social interaction, speech delay, minor factors such as the need for sameness, habits, and rituals, lack of imaginative play, sensory craving. In the past, the onset was under 30 months of age. So that they can fit in more of your children, they now make the onset under 36 months of age. But, the problem is if you look at that, all that says that if a child is acting in a certain dysfunctional way; they got the label of autism.
