I’d like to present a 7 year-old girl who presented with a very typical history; 18 months old – lack of language, frequent ear infections, chronic constipation – that’s not always typical but some of your children do have that. She had the diagnosis of Autism. On her spect scan, she showed markedly increased global profusion in the frontal area there. Bilateral, temporal, parietal hypoperfusion. This was one of our early scans and Dr. Mena was questioning was this autism? The frontal lobe was so hot he actually said is this a frontal seizure? It’s not, by the way, but it looked that hot
